Morocco, in William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice, says to Portia, "I have too grieved a heart/ To take a tedious leave." I am thinking, right now, that this is likely my last post to the Hixson Network Blog. . . . So let me be brief:
Breakfast on 5/27
We will convene as an entire Hixson community at 8:30am on Tuesday, August 27th, for our annual, last-day Kolache breakfast. We will eat together, say good-bye to those of us who are leaving, and honor the one of us who is retiring.
I believe that ambitious projects call for powerful actions which give us remarkable results, and I have and will continue to have great expectations for the faculty, for the staff, for the students and the community of Hixson Middle School.
