Monday Morning Memo, 4/20/2020

April 20, 2020

Good morning!  I hope this finds you doing well and not to stir crazy.  It was nice to see the sunshine this weekend and I hope you were able to take advantage of it.  Moving forward, I’m shifting our Sunday Night Memo to Monday Morning.  If you need anything though, I’m here every day.

To the school family members who are sitting intimately with Covid-19’s impact, our thoughts and prayers are with you.  If you need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out.  I…we…are here for you.

With gratitude,
Grace

Friday Car Parade, 4/24 @ 11:45am
If you are itching to get out and see some of your peeps safely from a distance and one of our awesome 8th graders smile, join the car parade for Catie Barnes on Friday.  Thank you to Mackenzie for organizing and sharing the info.

Here is the email sent out earlier with the details:
One of our Hixson students Catie Barnes in having a hard time with distance learning and not being able to see her teachers and friends. As a way to cheer her up I would like to invite all of the Hixson Family to have a drive by parade to let Catie know we are thinking about her. This will take place next Friday 4/24. We would meet in the parking lot of Dierbergs in Warson Wood (staying in our cars of course) at 11:45 and then leave at 12pm to drive to Catie's house. She lives off of Berry and Madison rd. Please feel free to make signs or decorate your cars (don't feel like you have to though!!) If you could email me back and let me know if you plan to attend that will help me keep track of how many cars we will have.
