- 10/18/22 - Parent Teacher Conferences in person, 4pm to 8pm (Dinner provided by Hixson admin)
- 10/19/22 - Parent Teacher Conferences in person, 4pm to 8pm (Dinner provided by Hixson PTO)
- 10/20/22 - Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences (can work from home or school), 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Continued Challenges with Sub Coverage
We continue to have issues with sub coverage. I hope this improves throughout the year, but so far I have not seen much improvement from where we were in the spring. Therefore, please make sure that you enter your absences in as early/quickly as possible so that we have as much lead time as possible to get your class covered (if needed). If you wait until the last minute to enter your absence, you will most likely not have a sub. Now, for a little humor. If you see any aliens roaming the earth, send them my way so I can ask them if they have sub certification!

Hello Everyone! My name is Kelly Dunsford, and I’m part of your PTO’s Communications Team. This year we would like to highlight a “Getting to Know You” feature on the PTO Facebook page. Our hope is that by sharing information about Hixson teachers, it will help the parents feel more connected to the school by being able to put a face to a name, especially when our learners are telling us stories about their day.
